Bollywood’s famous actress Esha Deol has made a tremendous identity in Hindi cinema like her parents Dharmendra and Hema Malini. Although she is away from cinema these days, she often remains in the discussion about her style. Along with acting, Esha Deol also tried her hand at writing. Apart from this, Esha Deol had to face body shaming many times. Not only this, people often compared him with his mother Hema Malini. This was disclosed by Esha Deol herself in her interview.
In an interview to India Forum, Esha Deol was asked, “People say you look masculine?” Responding to this, Esha Deol said, “I tried a lot to look like my mother, but all was in vain. And even after many years people did not stop comparing me with my mother’s looks. So I decided to look like my father.”
Talking about this, Esha Deol further said, “I worked on my body. I feel very proud when people praise me for my arms and legs. I also tell them that I have got all this from my father. I think my father also takes pleasure in the fact that my body is so fit.”
Talking about the looks, Esha Deol further said, “To be honest, I don’t want to be seen as a beautiful woman. I also feel that there is a need for hatti-katti actresses in the industry.” Esha Deol also told in her interview that her sister Ahana Deol is her biggest critic. He has even told the actress that she does not look good on screen.
Esha Deol while talking about sister Ahana Deol had said, “She says I don’t look good on screen and even these films are not going to work. Surprisingly, she is always right.” Please tell that Dharmendra did not want Esha Deol to come in films at all. This was revealed by the actress herself in the interview.
